Mom's Ghee ka Paratha Receipe

Hey Ya,

So how do I make ghee ka paratha like mom do?

Few easy steps :

1) Make dough it shouldn't be very soft - the soft dough is used for Roti .While Preparing dough put 2 spoon of Ghee in it. Its called as Moan ..umm yeah moan :P :P

2) Once dough is prepared you can keep it aside for a few minutes so it could settle down? (don't know what settles in) After that start preparing small rounded portions of dough . Keep rounding them for a few seconds so that no crack appears on them.

3) Now the tough part: pick ur Belan and start pressing the dough, fold it to form a triangle and put ghee between its layers. And then press it again to form a big triangle , u need to dust flour on it before it start sticking.

4) Now put it on tava and turn it quickly before it starts burning. turn it 2-3 times and then put ghee on one side and turn and parallely apply on the other side. keep a watch on it as it gets heated soon. There will be lots of smoke coming out of it, but its normal as ghee produces smoke when it burns. Make sure you wipe tava with dry cloth before putting your next paratha.

Thats it.. you should be able to make nice parathas after you are done with spoiling 3-4 of them with big holes in it.

Going with the Gut

Heya

Malaysia and Ipswich . I chose to ignore you. Sorry I love Mica more than you. My Myca has to be Mica.
I have put in my hard work towards the preparation. I believe I had put almost 90-92% of my maximum capacity. I know this place is different, its for me.
